BIRD WATCHING WALKS with James Tomlinson
Join local artist and keen bird-watcher James Tomlinson and John on a jolly ramble through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
James will also discuss environmental issues facing the area and highlight the great work of the people at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Sussex Wildlife and Friends of Rye Harbour.
Join us at the Globe Inn Marsh on Military Road for coffee and a bacon butty from 9am before setting off in the Ramblinns bus at 9.45 to ramble (around 2 to 2.5 hours), then bus ride back to the Globe
Places strictly limited to 12 people
£12.50 per head with funds benefittng Rye Harbour’s forthcoming Education Centre.
PAINT CLUB! Drink! Paint! Create!
Paint Club organise extremely popular and highly sociable painting evenings on the South Coast where you can create a masterpiece of your own in a fun class whilst enjoying a few drinks and some great food and company. Absolutely no experience is required – in fact, the results are often better if you’re not a painter at all – and all materials including easel, paints, brushes, palettes, pots and aprons are provided for individuals or groups who want to come along and get involved. The next Paint Club class in Rye will be led by Hastings-based professional artist Wendy Smith on 3rd March.
